Project Involved: Network Operations Centre (NOC), which concentrates in the development of effective monitoring solutions for Heterogeneous networks, Systems and Applications
Responsible for:
• Analyzing the requirements, design and implement monitoring solutions using various tools, primarily Tivoli Suite of products, across the organization.
• Evaluating new products in monitoring and system Management, preparing Development environments and integrating with existing products.
• Maintain the internal monitoring system and providing support and guidance for the monitoring team.
• Provide management information – reports and metrics, including Network/bandwidth Utilization, Network Devices/Servers availability etc
• Ensure high availability of servers and services, monitor Security threats to corporate WAN and LAN
• Integrate security, systems and network management events and locate the point of exposure and take action to fix it
Key Achievements:
• Increase pro-activeness in monitoring and alert generation from 58% to 92%, achieved by effective use of monitoring tools. This in-turn reduces unexpected system failures and service disruptions.
