• Was working as High Skilled Structural Inspector for the Construction of 33 pipe rack modules for LNG plant in China which was shipped to Russian peninsula after completion.

Job Responsibility
• Assigning jobs to the structural inspectors as per Daily inspection schedule.
• Witness inspection of structural fit-up & visual inspections as per the specifications.
• Stage release inspection of decks as per specifications.
• Surveillance of structural yard work including welders qualifications, welding consumables, stored materials, welding process, etc.
• Bolt tightening & dimensional inspection for Air cooler equipment’s.
• Review & signing of quality control form (QCF).
• Daily reporting of quality findings at the end of the day with all the day’s work and defects found and the required corrective methods.

Job Responsibility
• Check the preservation work of structures and machines of Rig ND 68.
• Prepare report for any deficiencies and instruct to make corrections.

In contract for National Drilling Company, China.

• Worked as a Commission engineer for work over rig accusation program projecn in China.
Duration: From 12th Sept 2013 to 31st Dec 2013.

Job Responsibility while working as a commissioning engineer
• Review of commissioning procedure of each system, machinery & equipment.
• Visual Inspection of the foundation and position of the machinery & equipment’s as per the drawings.
• Carry out commissioning of the machines such as draw-works, rotary table, BOP hoist, man ridding winch, air winch, mud pump, mud tanks, BOP maintenance platform, air compressors, firefighting system, trailers (main, power, tanks & mud pump), high pressure manifold, big bag hoist, high pressure unit, shale shaker, cable stabbing board, power tong, dead line anchor, integration test etc. as per the checklist and prepare punch list if any
• Follow up on the punch list and document the same.
• Review of the machinery manuals and documents.

• Worked as a Structural surveyor for residual value assessment of 29 rigs including 18 onshore & 11 offshore.

Job Responsibility while working in Design Dept.
• Weight & CG calculation of different blocks of hull structures & piping of offshore jack up rig using part by part AutoCAD structural drawings and MS Excel.
• Find sectional modulus of different structures like W-beams, I-beams, bulb bars etc. and compare the molded beams parameters with the fabricated beams for strength & take approval from class for the same.
• Calculate the dimensions for alternate structural members if a particular section is not available for production.
• On-site inspection with drawings of any particular block & preparation of As-fitted drawings accordingly for jack up rig.
• Design & development of docking stool for general purpose and special purpose.
• Preparation of docking plan for AMT carrier (Barge-114m) on floating dock.
• Modification of docking plan according to the repair team’s requirement, I.e. changing position of docking blocks without altering the load transfer from vessel to the block.
• Anode calculation & arrangement drawing preparation for the AMT carrier (Barge-114m).
• Checking production drawing & comparing it with class drawing (ABS) of Bulk Carrier (150m) and correcting if any irregularities found.
• Solving any doubts about the drawings with the production engineer.
• Solve production problems according to the class rules.

Job Responsibility in Ship Repair.

• Docking & undocking preparation on a floating dock (150m in length and 32m in breadth) that includes placing of docking blocks at exact location with exact height, marking of fwd & aft end of vessel and the position of the plum. Also clear floating dock of any obstructions that could damage the vessel during the operation.
• Docking & undocking operation co-coordinating and seating the vessel in correct position on the docking blocks.
• Repaired and cleared the special survey of AMT Carrier (a barge 114m in length, of dual class of LRS & IRS)

• Reversed engineered a house boat – Conducted inclining experiment and prepared stability information booklet for a house boat.
