Quality Engineer

- Coordinating the full QC Team on day to day activities for the completion of the projects
within the schedule and budget, which involves but not limited to the following activities;
• Structural/Piping
• Welding/NDT
• E & I
• Insulation
• Coating
• Load test
• Hydro/Pneumatic test
• Hose/Chalk test
• PQR & WQT
• Final mechanical completion
• Function test
- Preparing ITP & NDT plan.
- Scheduling the activities for Class/Client as per ITP.
- Review and approving punch lists.
- Conducting patrol surveys and issue NCR for any non-conformance.
- Liaising with Project Managers and Class Surveyors for any Quality issues.
- Conducting weekly QC/ABS meeting for the highlighting and resolving Quality issues, Punch list & NCR.
- Innovating new methods and techniques for fast and economic production,while sticking to the quality standards.
- Welding Procedure Approval.
- Welder Qualification Approval.
- Maintaining equipment calibration records.
- Conducting training classes for Fabricators, Welders & Electricians for improving the quality level of the deliverables.
- Conduct final mechanical completion inspection of the systems with class surveyor/client and hand over to Commissioning.
- Review and approve the Final Documentation Packages.
- Assisting Engineering department in developing Construction Portfolio.

- Understanding project requirements in accordance with applicable standards, specifications and codes as agreed in the contract.
- Coordinating and co-operating with Site Manager, supervisors, QC inspectors, Project Engineer and Client /TPI for all inspection activities.
- To ensure that all operations/activities related to projects are executed as per requirements of Client and as evidence maintain records.
- To reevaluate suppliers & Sub-contractor in regards to quality of the product /service offered by them.
- Report to Q.A. /Q.C. Manager regarding the conformance status of projects.
- Attending complaints and initiating Corrective & Preventive action accordingly.
- To identify & Control of Non-conforming process, raise a non-Conformance report and get them resolved accordingly.
- Carry out regular internal audits for each departments as per “Internal Audit Plan”.

Third Party Valuation of Materials, Witnessing PQR and Welder Qualifications, Structural Inspections and Piping Inspections

Third Party valuation of Fuel Tanker, Piping, Material Inspection, Witnessing Mechanical & Hardness Testing for PQR and Welder Qualifications.

- Supervise the assembling and erection of Pre-Fabricated steel structures.
- Prepare weekly report and submit to Project Manager.

- Carry out day to day inspection of fabrication, welding & N.D.T activities.
- Liaising with Project Managers and Production Managers for Quality issues.
- Witnessing Procedure Qualification.
- Witnessing Welder Qualification.
- Preparation of daily progress and welder performance reports.

- Daily surveillance of day to day fabrication, and welding activities.
- Inspection of incoming materials from the client companies and assures conformity to specification.
- Receipt inspection & issue inspection reports of Pipes, rods, plates etc.
- Assuring tight quality during welding jobs.
- Coordinating with NDT contractors for NDT requirement.
- Preparation of daily site inspection Reports.
