- I am working as a Lecturer in Classics in the UK. I am looking for a teaching job in academia or secondary schools.
- I successfully completed my PhD in December 2015. As a BA, MA and MPhil student, I studied Classics and Classical, Egyptian and Mediterranean archaeology.
- I am able to teach Greek and Latin language at any level, as required. I studied Ancient Greek and Latin languages at secondary school for five years and I continued at university level. I have taught Beginners’ Latin and Greek to undergraduate and MA students for five years. I have also taught Ancient History and Egyptology. I could also teach English and Italian language and literature.
- I have already obtained a British teaching qualification (PGCHE) in 2014. My two years PGCHE training, completed alongside my university teaching, helped me to improve and refine my teaching methods and strategies. I would be happy to work to obtain a German qualified teacher status if required.
- I have excellent ICT proficiency and wide experience of using e-resources. I attended an AHRC-funded training course on the Digital Humanities in 2013, and I am currently designing teaching materials which include Power Point presentations, e-resources and online quizzes.
- I am fully committed to offering pastoral support to pupils, and to support them not only in class but also in their wider school lives. In my current teaching position, I am working as an academic tutor.
- I would be particularly interested in work in a school where I can contribute to various co-curricular activities such as music and school trips, especially to museum and archaeological sites (considering my expertise in archaeology), but also other kinds of trips, as required.
