Marketing/Commercial Analyst – dual responsibility roles based out of Dubai
• Market opportunity analysis, build and maintain actionable intelligence insight into key competitors and market dynamics.
• Provided a focal point for all Client tendering communications, coordinating all clarifications, submissions, negotiations and/or debriefings with the Client and tendering team.
• Cross function information gathering and reporting (Internal KPIs) and tracking of all commercial opportunities.
• Preparation of sensitivity analysis for price comparisons to produce the best commercial bids.
• Verify project deliverables and time frames are in line with business objectives.
• Responsible for ownership of the Bid Summary Authorization (proposal budget) model to ensure an effective and working model for country managers and senior management.
• Analyze the project’s business case for development of capitalized, expensed, and amortized budget.
Cost Analyst – field/project/operations cost monitoring, controlling, forecasting and reporting for major acquisitions, new builds, upgrades, refurbishments, cross border mobilization and operation rigs, worked in Dubai, Romania, Algeria and Kuwait
• Analyze the project’s business case for development of capitalized, expensed, and amortized budget.
• Coordinate development and implementation of project work and cost breakdown structure.
• Understand the Contractor and Client contract and associated scope of work, reviews primary & change orders and time & equipment invoices for accuracy, completeness to ensure billings are processed only for work which has been accepted.
• Provide project guidance for creation of accurate weekly cost reports, identifying variances from the plan on commitment, value

Cost Controller - project cost monitoring, controlling, forecasting and reporting for new main contractor military infrastructure,5 star hotel, residential compound and public buildings.
• Proactively monitor and control the financial progress and profit margins of project against planed budgeted cost baseline.
• Identify and flag risks which have cost implication and effect overall project margin and maintain a register of such risks.
• Support bid team during tendering by providing information relating to resource costing, adjudication of subcontracts.
• Prepare internal CSI divisional baseline budget through quantity estimation and the rate analysis of the project using BOQ and IFC drawings.

• Prepare reliable/resource forecast of cash flows. suggest changes in pricing strategy to front load costs.

• Negotiating of prices, ensuring compliance with technical specification before preparing and finalization of subcontractor agreements in collaboration with Contracts/Commercial Manager.
• Assessment and evaluation of claims and variations submitted by the sub-contractors. Include any effective change thereof to the Monthly Cost Report.
• Prepare and finalize internal billing of formwork, services, housing and personnel to various projects.
• Site v/s Head Office expense/receivable reconciliation. And Preparation of Work In Progress Report.
