Calculation Engineer

Acquired knowledge in design, management, maintenance and testing of vehicles and launchers and the relative subsystems for civil, industrial and scientific applications

TIME program (double degree)

This master's degree provided a very solid preparation in the design, management, maintenance and testing of machines, tools, mechanisms, materials' behavior, cracks propagation (steel), composite structures as well as competences in combustion, internal combustion engines and turbomachinery

My main functions consist in mechanical devices optimization and preliminary design (drum dryers involving combustion, alternators’ cooling system, cooling/heating machines, centrifugal
pumps, ducts, ventilation grids, horizontal and vertical stabilizers of helicopters, helicopter’s blades, . . . ) performing extensive aerothermal numerical simulations (involving grid generation, flow computations, post-processing) which purpose is to improve those devices, both from an aerodynamic and thermal point of view. Now I am also responsible for the training of a new young CFD engineer.
