• Manufacture of electrical harness for BMW.
• Support the strategic planning of the area by developing the strategic planning for the group, within a short and medium-range time frame.
• Plan and administer the budget in the area and make sure to compliance with it.
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates that report to the position.
• Monitor the delivery of 100% production orders to the customer.
• Identify improvement potential and ensure implementation of improvement measures
• Implement all the quality and scraps goals of the company.
• Follow up and monitoring the efficiency and production of all the area every day to reach the correct utilization of the resources.
• Achieve cost efficiencies, performing balances, by motivating staff as well as coordinators and supervisors
• At present I am on charge of the 3 shift with 215 operators, two coordinators and one supervisor each shift. Also the training department.

Achievements:
o Got the best results in the employee satisfaction survey in the last years.
o Over 8% of budget reduction.
o Reduce scrap and material over consumption underneath the half of the limit.
o Increase delivery reliability from 60% to 95%
o Decrease the PPM underneath the half of the limit/goal.
o Increase the efficiency of the area from 95% to 105%

• Manufacture of Jeans.
• Develop new styles for Vans Spring and fall season.
• Maintain communication between tech services at USA and Vans merchandiser to be able to assist the plants in resolving; pattern, construction and trim related issues.
• Ensure all the news construction are incorporated to Specs and executed on the floor.
• Create and maintain Vans Spring and Fall development calendars by line
• Assist Quality Assurance to ensure on time delivery of prototype shrinkage and deviation information.
• Setup of a prototype sew are in the Managua facility for product development use. Aid in machine setup and operator cross training.

Achievements:
o All the prototypes were approved to sew the bulk production at Nicaragua division.
o All the prototypes were shipped on time or weeks ahead.
o All the garments developed were with any construction issues or wrong construction across the styles once the department was already set.
o Most of the problems found on the garments were solved in the early stage of the development.
o Equipment, aid in machines, cross training and a very good associate selection for the proto sew line leading to a successful new sew area.

• Manufacture of shirts.
• Planning input production orders so that it reaches the delivery times for customers
• Calculate the amount of raw material entering to the line to control inventories
• Control the production every two hours through supervisors to achieve the production target of the day.
• Monitor the delivery of 100% production orders to the customer
• Balance the line every day by; inventories, absenteeism and capabilities.
• Achieve cost efficiencies, performing balances, by motivating staff as well as operators and supervisors
• I had 4 supervisors with about 30 operators each. Also over 2 trainers.
Achievements:
o Start of production line at 0 that in 7 weeks reach an efficiency of 55%
o Compliance with the production plan in the weeks set.
o Compliance with urgent production orders.
o Establishment of maximum 1.8% OQL
