Expert - Logistics

Complete Handling Air/ Sea & import-export shipments.
Coordinate with shipper, consignee & agents for shipment handover takeover & documentation.
Calculate weight, volume, or cost of goods to be moved.
Negotiate Air/Shipping rates with freight carriers.
Prepare invoices or cost quotations for freight transportation
Select shipment routes, based on nature of goods shipped, transit times, or security needs.
Complete Air/shipping documentation, such as including BOE, Exit, Claim, AWB/ Bill of lading,
Packing lists, and certificates of origin etc.
Inform clients of factors such as Air/shipping options, timelines, transfers, or regulations affecting
Shipments.
• Recommend or arrange appropriate merchandise packing methods, according to climate, terrain,
Weight, nature of goods, or costs.
• Verify proper packaging and labeling of exported goods.
• Clear goods through customs, arranging for applicable duties and taxes.
• Complete knowledge of Dubai Trade Mirsal II & Calogi,

Cargo Build up:
• Buildup of unit load devices (ULD) and bulks as per the load plan of flights.
• Special care and planning before loading special cargo and loading them in the proper way.
• Take care of all special cargo, DGR & make sure load in proper way with in rules and regulations.

Break Down:
• Dismantling and relocating the shipments as per the Flight Manifest through using HHT.
• Special care and planning while handling cargo e.g. DGR, AVI, AOG, ELI, PER, VAL, VIP, PIL.

Import Documentation:
• Segregation the AWB’s flight wise doing the documentation part as well the system entries
for AUH AWB’s such as shipper, consignee details, charges, nature of goods etc…
• Raising all kind of discrepancies in the system such FDAW, MSAW, DGD, HAWB etc...

Export Manifesting:
• Receiving load plan from supervisor and review all booked and special shipment.
• Checking flight version and make sure all pallets and container build & load as per flight version.
• Make sure all cargo related AWB & PO Mails fly with cargo including special shipments.
• Prepare NOTOC for all export flight make sure all entries are correct as per load cargo.

RFS (Road Feeder Service):
• Maintain all record of incoming and outgoing trucks and raise irregularity if any.
• Coordinate with airport police during the screening of cargo.
• Handle all phase of import & export documentation and coordinate with cargo hub.

Cargo 2000 (C2K) :
• Using Descartes MY GLN for report, analysis, forward to destination on daily basis.
• Monitoring all Etihad online stations and follow up regarding cargo should be deliver with
in SLA (service level agreements) without any failure.
