One of the most challenging professional responsibility for me during my stint at the Apex offce of L&T and primarily responsible for monitoring the progress of over 100 projects, valued > $ 8 Bn across India, Sri Lanka and Middle East. Other functions as part of my responsibility were:
- Preparing and monitoring Five year growth strategy of the company
- Monitoring the supply chain of major and critical projects
- Cash flow and working capital monitoring of the overall business
- Financial reporting to the Chairman and the Board of Directors
- Extensive market research of construction sector in India and ME and tracking the competitor moves
2011-06 – 2012-12
Appointed in Airports business unit, while reporting to the VP & Business Unit Head. Broadly, the responsibility was strategic planning for new business/ project setups, while ensuring the alignment of the same with the corporate strategy and business objectives of the organization.
In order to prepare an effective strategy, I had to interface with clients and other stakeholders, monitor the market intelligence,
identifying the potential business areas, preparing road-maps based on techno-financial analysis, risk assessment & mitigation plans and providing necessary tendering support for multi-billion dollar projects across geographies like India, Middle East and Africa, through cost estimation, cost control, budget preparations, forecasting etc.

Responsible for site management, planning and project controls across various projects ranging from a major airport project to national highway project in western India. Showed exemplary commitment towards committed deliverable and client coordination.
Other important functions managed during the stint ranged from resource planning, vendor management, cash flows, budgeting and
contracts management.
