Carrying out welding inspection in pipeline (CS/DSS) based on approved drawings
• Receives instructions, documents, technical Specifications and details regarding probable
welding requirements, Studies, Analysis and establishes weld and NDE requirements..
• Conduct the welder qualification based on PDO specifications/API 1104/ASME Sec IX
• Maintains a record of all welder activities and when required issues a warning letter to
welders having continuous repairs
• Carry out the material inspection as per PDO standards.
• During welding, check for correctness of weld consumables.
• Weld visual inspection
• RT/UT/PT and MPT Interpretations.
• Compilation and verification of all relevant records in the loop file/test pack and release
for pressure test.
• Monitoring the site activities and resolve the quality issues.
