Ground Water Wells Inventory and Mapping for Abu Dhabi Emirate
Responsibilities
▪ Surveying of farm soils to investigate soil salinity and other soil deficiencies.
▪ Conducting agricultural interviews on farm soil quality, cropping and farm water use in the arid climate of Abu Dhabi Emirate.
▪ Visited 4000 farms mostly were Date farms regarding full soil observations by auger down to 150cm.
▪ Measuring PH and Electric conductivity of soil.
▪ A special task to revisit regularly every 4 months 100 selected farms to repeat the soil investigation for monitoring purposes.
▪ The collection of project data involves routinely by digital field recording devices like Trimble and Garmin.
▪ Preparation of reports and data handling by computer system.
▪ Repeatedly compiled and evaluated the data in a pro-active way for the purpose of project.
▪ Classification of wells by type, water quantity and quality.
▪ Extraction rate and change in water level.
▪ Observation of salinity level of soil.

Baseline water sampling survey to all Abu Dhabi Emirate
Responsibilities
▪ Measuring the PH, Alkalinity, Dissolved Oxygen. H2S, EC and Turbidity of Well waters.
▪ Calibration of PH, EC and Turbidity devices.
▪ Measurements of water level and well depth with meters.
▪ Collecting samples for Bacteria, Pharmaceuticals, trace metals, pesticides and with nitric acid in the fields.
