Mapping, odometry and pathfinding of an engineering model for space purpose

Development of the navigation system, with the skills made-up by mapping, odometry and pathfinding of a rover, used as a test bench, for the Martian and Lunar surface discovering. These skills were developed with the images acquisition from a ToF (Time of Flight) camera, computed with the aid of the factor graphs and integrated with the informations provided from the AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference System) mounted on the rover the same.

Planning, assembling and testing of track geometry measurement’s automatic devices assistant. I performed a study about the laser classification of a collimated laser point distributed on a laser blade and the safety actions in order to avoid any skin or eyes damages due an accidental reflection. Successively I have performed some electronic laboratory activities among which: a half-wave rectifier and its measurements, a PWM signal using a MCU and verification tests on commercial devices.
