• Managing all product programs. New LTE repeaters utilize a new, in-house designed ASIC. Managing constantly 4-7 programs simultaneously.
• In 4 years have taken 28 programs from concept to mass production.
• Responsible of engineering, marketing, sourcing, manufacturing, customer care and quality.
• Responsible of schedule, cost, budget and quality. Reporting to steering group about progress and deviations.
• Implemented milestone process to efficiently run programs and trained management and other personnel.

• Established a company that designs HW modules, FW, audio DSP algorithms and PC control SW to be used together with B&O amplifier modules.
• Defined overall concept and created system requirements.
• Created specifications for HW, FW, mechanics and PC control SW.
• Made contracts with outside companies to do joint R&D for HW, FW and PC control SW design. Managed multi-site project in Colombia (FW), Brazil (HW) and Germany (PC SW).

• Held the responsibility of all R&D activities for the projects: resource management, budgeting, project schedule, HW, audio, RF, antenna, PCB, mechanics, proto builds, software/firmware, system integration and testing.
• Worked with Asian subcontractors doing design/implementation concurrently in multi-site, remote teams. Built strong relationships with subcontractor leaders and team members to ensure good communication.
• Led the implementation of new RF engine in the lead product.
• Managed five cellular handset programs that had a total manufacturing quantity of tens of millions of units. The average length of a product program was 12 months.
• The programs were targeted for leading cellular operators in North America, Latin America, China, and India.
• Managed simultaneous ramp-ups in three factories in Latin America and Asia.

• Developed world’s first terminal product for IP data casting. Took product from concept to mass production.
• Overall program responsibility: R&D, marketing, new technology sourcing and manufacturing.
• Defined concept (IPDC, TV in cell phone) together with Business Development, Research Center and new technology sourcing.
• Program recognized for being the first program to achieve milestone to start mass production.
• Implemented process to a new site (R&D Center/ Turku) and trained management.

• Responsible of R&D for all accessories made in worldwide for multiple phone programs: Bluetooth accessories, cameras, voice recognition kits, car hands-free kits, batteries and chargers.
• Created and defined new products/concepts: first BT headset and BT remote controller. Worked closely with marketing, industrial designers, user experience study groups and technology platforms.
• Customer programs in Finland, Denmark, Germany, UK and USA.
• Responsible of specifying new phone/accessory interface that was used in all phones at the time.
• Managed HW / SW / mechanics resources in Finland and HK and supported production in Finland and China.

• Designed hardware for Bluetooth accessories: audio and baseband design, and interface specifications.
• Worked as a team lead: managed also software, mechanics and system testing.
• Participated in concept work (with ID and marketing) for the next generation audio accessory products.

Designed HW for a computer unit of a rowing machine. Managed SW and system testing.

Designed SW and HW for PC peripherals and data collecting devices.

Responsible of electronic instrumentation of a research submarine.
