After completing four years of college I had perform one year at the General hospital of Ensenada. Where I and other colleagues were in charge of the nutrition department.
My tasks were to see everyday all the new patients who entered at hospital with nutritional needs, specifically in the area of internal medicine, pediatrics and gynecology. I had to give each of those patients nutritional counseling as well follow ups during the time they were at the hospital.
I was also in charge of the hospital kitchen, making specialized daily menus (diets) for patients and personal of the hospital.
Every week there were talks for the kitchen staff about the hygiene and care of food that they must have.
