Application Management
Responsible for the Spectrum Management applications at Ofcom; initially support of the legacy Fixed Link Spectrum Management system (FiLSM) application prior to taking on responsibility of the LStelcom SPECTRA suite of applications.
Test Manager
Test Manager for Legacy and ‘New World’ Project teams. Legacy applications include Oracle, Java and C++ architecture. New World applications developed using SAP and Siebel technologies.
Role involved creation of test documentation including strategy, scripts and report templates, educating consultants on processes, manual testing, version control of test documentation and code.

Team Leader/Oracle Developer/Application Management/Staff Manager
Responsible for key agency technical system (Fixed Links Spectrum Management - FiLSM).
Sole support for the system when upgraded to critical 24x7 applications. Represented application management function in client meetings.
Staff Manager for 10 people, responsible for setting of objectives, performance reviews and general assistance.
Part of testing team established with aim to automating testing of AM systems. Using Compuware’s QARun tool linked to Logica’s own ‘TestFrame’ methodology.
2000-01 – 2001-12
Oracle Application 2nd Line Support Consultant working for a team responsible for implementing and supporting the FiLSM (Fixed Links Spectrum Management) Application. This was a joint venture project between CMG and the Radiocommunications Agency.
Position involved investigation, resolution of problems and development using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms 4.5, Oracle Reports 2.5 and Staffware. Liaised with Radiocommunications Agency staff on a regular basis.
This included the Radiocommunication’s Agency project (FRIP) to integrate the unified Licensing system (RULES) and fixed Link management system (FiLSM).

Key achievements:
Working pro bono, I successfully implemented two major projects, using Developer 2000 tool set. Responsibilities included participating in business development assignments, quality assurance and control of the project, technical trouble shooting and bug fixing and writing and implementing all the test modules up to user acceptance testing.
