• Manage the QHSE team to achieve control, monitoring and implementation of QHSE and contract governance in line with Al Jaber Group and policies and procedures
• Develop, maintain and improve the business Integrated Management System to underpin QHSE and operating standards
• Maintain quality, safety and environmental management systems; develop & implement QHSE policy, objectives, plan, procedures, and audit to achieve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 and OSHAD-SF
• Set KPI based QHSE Objectives & Targets and develop HSE trainings plan as per TNA for all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of legal & QHSE management system requirements
• Prepare monthly QHSE statistics / performance report, Lead in Internal audits & inspections and participate in external audits to ensure the management system is intact with the legal & other requirements
• Deliver quarterly Management Review Meeting to share the performance with top Management & review QHSE Management System as a whole
• Provide accident and incident monthly & quarterly reports at group level and assist with subsequent investigation process; provide trend analysis to Management Team to support and focus for driving positive behaviours and culture within the business
• Recommend on the safety aspects, tools, policies, procedures etc. in the company to eliminate any unsafe act or eliminate hazardous impact on the industrial activities in the organization
• Develop and execute TRA, JSA, HAZIDS, HAZMAT, HAZCHOM, PSSR and HSEIA etc
• Develop Emergency Management Plan & Evacuation Drill & rescue in any Emergency situation
• Minimizes fire damage by responding to alarms; driving and operating equipment; regulating water pressure; combating and extinguishing fires; rescuing and reviving people

• Ensures, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the legal compliance, company HSE Management Systems, Corporate Social Responsibility, insurance risk inspection survey, supplier qualification programs, work conditions assessment & customers audits
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 QHSE Management Systems documentation, implementations and audits
• Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Process Safety and Environmental Management System at all level
• Ensure Process Management System(PSM) at Power Plant & Utilities, Coal fired boiler, Maintenance and Production Process flow as per machine / plant designed specifications to run process smooth by implementing National & International Standards & guidelines
• Good knowledge on FTA, ETA, Bowtie & ALARP, ESSA, EERA, FRA, Fire gas mapping study, COMAH study, HSEIA & safety case development, PHSER, SIMOPS, MOPO, ENVID, OHID
• Perform TRA, HAZIDS, HAZCOM, identify HAZMAT at their appropriate level to mitigate occupational risks by applying the realistic controls
• Takes part in accident / incident investigation and analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
• Provides technical support to Senior Management on any QHSE related subjects & update them with new challenges
• Maintain all Firefighting system by following P&IDs, inspect water based firefighting primary & secondary pumps, their volumetric flow & maintain the required static & operational pressure as per NFPA guidelines

• Maintain HSE Management System in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Fertilizers and Chemical industry turnarounds/ shut downs
• Evaluate and review Basis of design(BOD) & project execution plan(PEP)the Cooperate accident / incident reporting forms and procedure and to provide recommendation for modification and evaluate and review the Accident / incident investigation procedure
• Implement HSE Policy, Procedures & conduct Safety Committee Meetings to evaluate & review HSE Management System
• Train operation staff and the entire contractor on site regarding the safe system of work procedure complains and effects of different hazards on site
• Conduct and monitor the safety induction session for new employees on site including various Tool Box Talks, Safety Bulletins, Safety Newspaper so that this could be effective means to prevent incident / accident on site
• Implementation and promotion of EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLAN for work site, perform & follow TRA, HAZIDS, HAZCOM, HAZMAT as National & International standard requirement
• Ensure Safety & Firefighting equipment purchasing, estimating & inspection for their quality & cost evaluation and also ensure the availability

• Ability to lead planning team for major plant turnarounds, resource management
• Understanding the hazards inherent in each unit operation and adopting precautionary and emergency measures
• Thorough cleaning and purging before signing the hot work job permit.
• Check environmental monitoring for oxygen, toxic gases and flammable gases before entry
• Give the awareness to all workers for their personnel as well as equipment and environmental safety
