Analysis, update, maintenance and development of apps using java (Android) and ionic (Hybrid). Working on several projects over time, various technologies have been touched upon. Google APIs used are maps, directions, and fused location provider. These have been used to handle location updates, to calculate and show a route using a polyline, and to show different locations using markers. The socket.io-client and stomp android libraries have been used to handle certain instances of back-end communication. Retrofit 2 has been used to consume RESTful APIs. The Glide and Picasso android libraries were used for loading images from the back-end. While making use of the Ionic 3 framework for hybrid development, HTML, CSS, and the Angular 4 framework, have been implemented. On several occasions where meetings with a client were conducted using skype, Mobizen was used to mirror the android device screen. Version control was handled using github. A chat using Firebase has been implemented. And with help of OneSignal and Firebase Cloud Messaging PUSH notifications have been implemented. RxJava2 and RxAndroid, along with android components such as ViewModel have been used to implement both MVP and MVVM patterns.

In charge of developing an app using Android studio. Using Firebase Cloud Messaging to handle push notifications. Real time database to help handle events when data is changed. Authentication to handle sign in with social media, email, etc. With the help of the card io library, registered credit card information. Scrum was implemented tasks were estimated and weekly sprints planned out. Also used the Espresso library to handle basic unit testing.

Working with the PHP framework called Codeigniter, I helped in the development of the web platform that uses the model-view-controller design pattern. I helped in the modifying/updating of existing web pages, models, and controllers, as well as in creating new ones when needed. This development involved both front- and back- end, which is why I was able to further develop my skills in JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, HTML, and CSS (bootstrap).
