▪ Managed entire domestic procurement for 2 business sectors (Automotive components and Machine Tools) – Over 200 parts (A,B & C class) & a business portfolio of INR 2.5 million – Managing procure to pay cycles for suppliers
▪ Played a pivotal role in achieving highest YoY turnover (INR 150 million) in FY 2014-2015 for aforementioned business sectors (managed planning & purchase portfolios until April’15 – vertical integration [SCM] from May’15 w/ addition of 1 more sector)
▪ Successfully achieved supplier base consolidation for machined components & C-Class parts:
o Manifold block supplier base consolidation/segregation based on multi-function competency matrix (PQCDSM)
o C-class parts bulk ordering/negotiations with Wuerth (I) Pvt. Ltd.
▪ Identified new suppliers for new aggregates/material & conversion of PR & releasing PO to approved supplier & ensuring availability of the material in coherence with production plan (expediting delayed POs) & Interacting/coordinating with logistics service providers
▪ Scheduling of production orders based upon material availability & lead times; coordinating w/ sales teams for sales orders; coordinating with imports/Germany based team for order expedites
▪ Worked on reduction in inventory levels/maintaining proper inventory levels (reduction in NVA/non-moving inventory; setting, modifying & maintaining ROL for repetitive aggregates)

▪ Successfully planned & coordinated the line remediation project for Al mfg. tubes
▪ Implementing/Coordinating poka-yoke/projects on line for maximization of production
▪ Managed daily production (& man power planning ) of group’s facility in Daman

▪ Daily planning & coordination w/ CPPC, SCM & mfg. shops for achieving daily rolling plan adherence w.r.t. setup
▪ Contributing towards maximization of ‘% schedule adherence of roll down to eDCM plan’ using SAP ( APO & PP module) & IPMS
▪ Project: Active participation in implementing supplier side chassis logic for regulation of chassis dispatch

This project gave me the initial in-depth insights into the Operations & Supply Chain Management fields
- Project on “Tool life improvement of internal grinding wheel in nozzle manufacturing” as a part of OEE- improvement, resulting in bore wheel life improvement
- Project carried out under the Value Stream Mapping - Value Stream Design umbrella which exposed to many of the industry best practices
