Senior Procurement Lead – Workover Well Services for Petoleum Development Oman

• Responsible as a Company representative to drive complete Procurement Operations - Total spend of $6.8 MN.
• Sourcing CAPEX/OPEX machinery/items from the domestic and international market (Middle East, USA, Germany, Italy, India and China), purchasing materials/equipment.
• Responsible for leading and concluding post-bid Techno-commercial discussions with suppliers / service contractors to ensure they best understand scope of work, technical specifications, company policies, legal bindings.
• Forecasting, Material Planning and Procurement of well control equipment spare parts from OEM well in advance with thorough co-ordination.
• Initiated and Introduced Freight forwarders for freight and customs clearance for overseas shipment thus avoiding unnecessary penalty and demurrages.
• Maintaining standards of safety and ensuring compliance with the company’s health, safety & environment system requirements.

Manager – Procurement
• Complete ownership of Procurement operations, Supplier Selections, Supplier Audits.
• Effective Contract management of Service related Contracts for Electrical Works, Mechanical works.
• Led a team of 2 Engineers for procurement operations and service contracts of 6 to 8 Projects at a time, managing procurement transactions worth $ 8 MN annually.
• Key member in High Power Committee as a Procurement for major purchases and rate agreements in consultation with Top Management.

• Interface with Engineering design team, Client, Consultants.
• Procurement key member to provide inputs to Tendering team for costing and estimation.

Assistant Manager – Procurement
• Lead, Prepare & Establish Procurement Schedule, identifying all key equipment’s, materials, proposed vendors along with Projects team.
• Strategize sourcing for critical and high cost materials like Cables, Equipment’s in conjunction with Operations Head.
• Responsible to coordinate with vendors for any deviations in supplied materials, its corrective actions, replacement or warranties.

Senior Engineer – Procurement
• Floating RFQ’s as per specifications /contract requirements, techno-commercial tabulation and evaluation of bids received, carrying out analysis of past and previous data.
• Execute Purchase Orders as per Contract terms and conditions and as per company policies.

Engineer-Planning
• Execute detail planning for successful execution of materials ordered, verify necessary approvals and documentation to support vendor invoices, vendor management.
• Designed and implemented planning tools for scheduling day to day activities, thus resulting in effective monitoring.

Executive Engineer-Quality Assurance
• Preparation of Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection Test Plans as per Tender requirement.
• Liaise with Quality Control to organize inspection with Indian Boiler Regulations, Engineers India Limited, Bureau Veritas, and Lloyds Inspection Agency and as required.
• Kaizen Team leader.

Engineer – Planning
• Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual job schedules. Scheduling, to ensure on time delivery of jobs.
• Regular reviews to monitor progress, report preparation, identifying critical areas, providing analysis and escalate early warnings to management.
• Responsible for Material Planning and administration of sub-contraction.
