Risk-Manager/in

- Creation of the Risk Department from scratch, including planning, implementing and executing all subjects related to
fraud prevention.
- Development of the API services and rules processing engine to automatize core operational processes such as merchant
affiliation, monitoring and transaction assessment.
- Leadership of the risk management strategy, technical roadmap, product development and KPIs monitoring

- Planning of the business strategy of the wallet to increase monthly active users and sellers, achieving on average 15% of compound monthly growth rate.
- Responsible for orchestrating the execution of the strategy with other departments such as marketing, product, technology and legal.
- Project planning and implementation with strategic partners

- Leadership of 3 teams in the risk department (Control, Performance, Data Science) with a total of 14 team members.
- Responsible for the KPIs, operational monitoring, operational performance (maximization of approval with minimum
chargeback), implementation of rules and improvement of machine learning models.

- Market research and analysis to prioritize the development of the products features according to the market demands.
- Planning, design and implementation of new features and products with the IT team.
- Management of specific projects for key clients
- Close monitoring of the launch with the sales team, gathering feedbacks from clients to mitigate bugs and usage problems

- Control and monitoring of the On-Time Performance KPIs for the operational department.
- Development of statistical tools and methods to calculate the optimal flight times for all combinations of routes and aircrafts, in different times of the year.
- The resulting model was capable of testing multiple statistical distributions and had less that 2% of error, reducing unpredictability.

- Responsible for all segments of the sales funnel, from prospection of potential deals to the initial integration support.
- During this time, I automated most of the manual bureaucracies, including the pricing calculation and contract generation, saving several hours of the sales team and allowing everyone to focus on sales.
