• Staking out mitigation areas and collecting GNSS data to produce pre excavation and post excavation plans of a complex Roman roadside settlement and adjacent medieval occupation and an Iron Age village with several roundhouses and multiple enclosures, pits and post structures. • Coordinating a small team of surveyors, organising training sessions for the novice surveyors.
• Configuration of the survey equipment maintenance of field survey equipment.
• Mediating between the office-based geomatics department, the site-based surveyors and the field excavation team to ensure the smooth running of operations and accurate on-site collection of data. • Checking the quality and completeness of survey data against the paper archive and fixing any problems.

• Collecting GNSS data, excavation and recording of a range of sites along the central section of HS2: notably for the Welwick Farm timber circle and the early Saxon cemetery in Wendover, for the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Grim's Ditch near Great Missenden and an area of Roman settlement on the same site.
• Data capturing with Trimble total station on a multi-period urban site (1600 CE - 100 CE) and photogrammetry of Victorian structures (1800 CE) in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
• Full excavation, sections drawings, photographic and contexts record of a High status Roman buildings (100 CE - 400 CE) and multi-period complex ( 1200 CE to - 100 CE) in Lincoln during the Leb16 project.
