• Reviewing and commenting of drawings, material submittals, method statements and RFI’s of all services.

• Attend meetings with Client Representatives and Contractors for changes, design and progress of site.

• Major responsibilities include inspection of materials and work on site as per the best standards like SMACNA, NFPA & other local authority standards and ensure that all works on site are carried as per the approved drawings with full safety.

• Raising Non Conformance Report’s for works not complying with specifications, drawings or method statement.

• Coordination of works with all services involved, including MEP, Fire Stopping, Civil, Arch & Interior
• Making snag list , correction and approval of as-built drawings and the O&M Manual

• Inspection, sampling and testing of materials and work to assure that compliance with the contract specification, ITP, quality control procedure and method statement.

• Assist in the review and forward comments on the contractor’s method statement for execution of the works.

• Assist in the review and forward any comments on the contractor’s technical submittals.
• Inspect the work done by the contractor(s) to ascertain that work is executed in accordance with the
Contract Documents and accepted practice.

• Liaise with the RE for the effective implementation of the quality management systems and site supervision provision activities.

• Ensure that all statutory authority NOC’s / permits / design approvals are available on site for construction.

• Conduct regular (daily) site visits and supervise, verify the installation of Mechanical works ensuring compliance with the contract documents.

• Raise non-conformance notices (NCNs)/reports; site inspections notices (SINs) identify quality deficiencies in conjunction with the RE.

• Provide/assist inspections and advisory services to enable Business Units to execute works according to KAFC and Client’s requirements.

• Conduct surveillance and reviews of the quality system, including subcontractors and suppliers where appropriate.

• Assist the Technical Manager in liaising with managers and external organizations on issues relevant to quality and in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System.

• Proactive approach to improve quality of work at site, minimize rework and demonstrate continual improvement.

• To assist the organization of phased Inspections
• Raise the profile of Quality with in the construction team by promoting Best Practice.
• Provision of inspection assistance services to enable the Business Units to execute works as per Client requirement.

• To ensure better quality standards of the finished products by consistent monitoring of the process and proper production sequence.

• Assist in Documentation and implementation of ISO: 9001:2000 Business management systems Ensure the subcontractors are in compliance with their own quality systems.

• Carry out phased Inspections of preparatory Inspections, initial inspections and follow-up inspections as specified.

• Prepare all Method Statements and Inspection Test Plans

• Control all the nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action

• To assist in the management all site field tests listed in the specification. Maintain Quality Control records and inspection records.

• Issue Quality Control reports as specified.

• Assist in the verification that contract close out documentation is prepared as necessary.

• Record and report that the necessary training systems of labor are being conducted together with safety and toolbox talks.

• Check the works in their area of responsibility for compliance with the specifications. Preparation and follow up of Work inspection requests

• Review Site Condition issues and submit RFI to consultant for approval

• Prepare MEP Design Calculation such as Pump Head and ESP and submit Shop Drawings for approval with the consultant

• Sending Enquiries to supplier prior to quality and cost efficiency review

• Cost Estimation of Incoming projects (HVAC, Water Supply, Drainage and Fire Fighting as per given tender drawing and Specification for the material
